After spending the day at Olympic National Park’s Hurricane Hill, we found out that there was going to be a sunset hike back to the top of the ridge for the full moon led by a park ranger. Even though were three of us and only one emergency flash light, the prospect of enjoying these amazing views under a full moon was too much to pass up! So, already having a full day of hiking, at sunset we set out on the hike again!

Except for the star moving across the top of this picture, you wouldn’t know that it is eliminated by moon light, not sunlight.
Continuing up Hurricane Hill looking at the moon lit fields and the stars above.
It took forever, because I kept stopping for pictures, but we finally reached the top of Hurricane Hill and had an amazing view of Port Angeles, Washington and even of Victoria, Canada!
We had amazing time and made a new friend!
